OUR GERMAN SHEPHERDS
Meet the heart of Shadowcrest Kennels — our champion-line German Shepherd & Siberian Huskys, bred for beauty, health, and the sweetest temperaments.
Our Sires
Kratos Des Schattens - “Kratos Dean”
DDR German Shepherd · Solid Black · DM Clear
Kratos Dean is a laid-back, sweet German Shepherd with an impressive presence even at a young age.
At just 8 months old, Kratos already weighs approximately 80 pounds. His solid-black coat gives him a striking appearance, while his relaxed and affectionate personality provides a wonderful contrast to his substantial size.
Kratos represents qualities we appreciate in our German Shepherds: presence and substance paired with a sweet, easygoing personality.

Our Dams
Calla Vom Schwarzen Hund — “Calla Belle”
German Shepherd · Solid Black · DM Clear
Calla Belle is a high-energy, fun-loving German Shepherd who loves people. She is on the petite side and has a beautiful solid-black coat, but it is her drive and personality that have played such an important role in the story of Shadowcrest Kennels.
Calla originally came into our lives with the hope that she could become Laura's service dog. Her natural drive ultimately showed us that service work wasn't the best role for her.
Today, Calla is training in IGP with the goal of protection work, allowing her to channel those qualities in a direction better suited to the dog she is.
Calla helped teach us one of the principles that guides Shadowcrest:

Tajia's Angels Joslyn Winter Moon — “Joslyn”
German Shepherd · Solid Black · DM Clear
Joslyn is a beautiful, petite German Shepherd with a more reserved and somewhat shy personality.
Her solid-white appearance is particularly striking. Genetically, her white coat masks solid black and bi-color.
Joslyn is planned to be bred to Ares, with the breeding currently planned for October 2026 and potential puppies in December 2026 if successful.
We look forward to seeing what this pairing may bring to the next generation of Shadowcrest German Shepherds.
