Since 2025

At Shadowcrest Kennels, we don't believe breeding dogs should simply be about producing puppies. We believe it should have purpose.

Every breeding decision is made with the future of our dogs in mind. We focus on strong genetics, health, temperament, structure, and preserving the qualities that make German Shepherds and Siberian Huskies such remarkable breeds.

Our German Shepherd and Siberian Husky breeding dogs are health tested for OFA hips, elbows, heart, eyes, and thyroid, helping us make thoughtful, informed decisions when planning future generations.

Located in Albany, Georgia, Shadowcrest Kennels was established in 2025 with a commitment to quality over quantity. Rather than focusing on producing as many litters as possible, we believe each breeding should have a purpose and every puppy should receive the individual care and attention needed for a strong start in life.

Our puppies are raised-not simply bred. Early development includes Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), temperament testing, crate introduction, and exposure to children, other animals, everyday noises, and new experiences. These experiences help build confidence and prepare our puppies for the transition from our care into yours.

Placement matters to us, too. Our application and matching process allows us to get to know prospective families and consider each puppy's individual temperament and needs. Our goal isn't simply to find a buyer. It's to find the right home.

Most importantly, our responsibility doesn't end when your puppy goes home. We believe a Shadowcrest dog will always be part of the Shadowcrest family.

Because a puppy is only with us for a short time-but our responsibility to that dog lasts a lifetime.
